What is Crazy Balls?
Crazy Balls is a reinvention of the smash-hit Evolution game show game Crazy Time.
This time around, there is no money wheel in the base game. Instead, you will fill out bingo cards to make up your wins. Each Crazy Balls bonus game is assigned 2, 3, 4, or 5 numbers as well, and landing the correct balls for each one triggers that bonus!
How to Play Crazy Balls
Learning how to play Crazy Balls takes less than a minute and is even easier than learning how to play Crazy Time!
To participate in a Crazy Balls game round, you need to purchase at least one bingo card. Landing five numbered balls in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line on the card gives you a win.
In theory, that is all you need to know to play Crazy Balls with real money! But in true Evolution fashion, there’s much more to this game than that.
Before we get into the details, here’s a super quick guide on how to play:
Step-by-step on how to play Crazy Balls:
- Sign in or sign up to one of our top-listed online casinos.
- Start the game and adjust your bet level.
- Purchase at least one bingo card.
- Place a bet on up to four bonus games.
- Watch as the balls are drawn from the drum one by one.
- See if you won.
- Play again!
How to purchase Crazy Balls Bingo cards?
You can purchase up to four bingo cards per game round. Each card has a 5×5 grid of numbered cells, totaling 25 numbers. The 25 numbers are randomly generated from a selection ranging from 1 to 60.
Cells on your bingo card can receive additional features to boost your gameplay depending on which card type you have bought. You can easily toggle between the two card types by using the toggle on each card.
Free Space Card: A Free Space Card will have a guaranteed “free space” in the middle cell of the card. The free space will count as a filled cell. Any lines incorporating the free space will require one less number to complete.
Multi Card: A Multi Card will have one guaranteed multiplier in the middle cell of the card. Winning lines that contain the multiplier will be increased accordingly.
While purchasing your bingo cards, you’ll also decide whether to place bets on any of the four bonus games: Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko, and Crazy Time.
You need to have an active bet on a bonus game to play it, to choose wisely!
It is time to draw the balls
Once you are satisfied with your bets, it’s time to draw the balls! Firstly, the game host will share some additional free spaces and multipliers with you. The system randomly selects and places these on your cards and bonus tickets.
At this stage, three different multipliers can be added to your cards:
- A Standard multiplier will have a multiplier ranging from 10x to 20x and will multiply a winning line with that amount.
- A Line multiplier covers a full line and ranges from 20x to 50x. You need to fill the indicated line to receive this multiplier.
- A Global multiplier holds a 2x or 3x multiplier and will multiply all winnings from a specific card.
Then the draw begins, and you’ll watch as 20 balls out of 60 are drawn, filling the spaces on your cards or bonus tickets as it progresses.
Filling at least one line on a card counts as a win on that card. The more lines, the higher the win!
How to Qualify for a bonus round?
Two requirements need to be met for you to qualify for a bonus round:
- You need to have an active bet on the bonus and;
- The bonus round needs to have obtained the required ball numbers assigned to it.
Different bonus games require different amounts of balls to trigger. Coin Flip needs two numbers, Cash Hunt three, Pachinko four, and Crazy Time five.
Crazy Balls Bonus Games
If you have played Crazy Time, Crazy Coin Flip, or Crazy Pachinko, you will recognize the bonus games of Crazy Balls.
The four bonus games are brought from the Crazy Time studio into Crazy Balls, and their mechanics and payouts remain intact.
Coin Flip
The name of this bonus game is quite self-explanatory. In Coin Flip, the game show host places a two-sided coin into a Flip-o-Meter that will flip the coin.
The coin features a blue side and a red side, with each side receiving a multiplier at the start of the bonus.
Whichever side of the coin lands facing up will be the multiplier you will receive. The maximum multiplier possible here is 150x.
Cash Hunt
In Cash Hunt, you are on the hunt for the largest multiplier (the 500x) among 108 targets on a screen.
Pachinko
In Pachinko, we are taking it back to a game that originated in Japan in the 1920s. More well-known under the name Plinko, this game sees a puck travel downward a pegged board, landing in one of 16 pockets at the bottom of the board.
In the Crazy Balls Pachinko bonus game, the game assigns each bottom pocket a multiplier from 2x to 10,000x or a Double. The game show host then drops the puck from the top of the board.
If the puck lands in a Double pocket, all multipliers double, and the puck is dropped again. When the puck lands in a multiplier pocket, your winnings are paid based on that value.
Crazy Time
In the biggest bonus game, Crazy Time, a humongous wheel of fortune awaits you. This wheel has 64 segments filled with multipliers, Doubles, and Triples.
It can pay up to 20,000x!
And while a regular money wheel has one flapper that decides the winning segment, the Crazy Balls Crazy Time wheel has three!
You choose one of the three flappers—yellow, blue, or green—before the wheel spins. This is the one that will decide your payout.
If the flapper lands on a Double or Triple, all multipliers double or triple in value before the wheel spins again.

Which is the best Crazy Balls Strategy?
Although Crazy Balls is a game of chance, you may want to stick to a Crazy Balls strategy to make the most out of your gameplay.
Since there are no ways to predict the game, you will have to get creative with the strategies you use. In other words, there are no betting patterns or secret hacks to use that will guarantee a win.
These are our professional tips on how to play:
- Always bet on all bonus games. You wouldn’t want to miss a bonus game when it lands, so always place at least a small bet on each bonus.
- Enjoy the base game. While the bonus games are what makes this game extra fun, it might take a while to trigger them. The base game can still pay well, up to 200x your bet, so enjoy filling the lines on your cards, seeing the bonus games as an extra thrill.
- Ensure that you aren’t betting more than you can afford. It is never worth it to gamble away money that you need. Always keep funds for food, rent, and other necessities separate from your gambling.
- Take a break if you feel frustrated, angry, or sad because the game isn’t going your way. The game will be there when you come back. Strong emotions can make you place bets in ways you didn’t intend.
