PISS Feature
If letters P, I, S, and S land sequentially in the same column (only possible on reels 2, 3, and 4), the PISS feature triggers. All letter symbols in the column are transformed into xBomb Wilds. Similarly to the SOS feature, the PISS feature only triggers in the base game if there has been no other win or avalanche. In bonus rounds, it will trigger regardless of previous activity on the reels.
Scatter Respin
Landing two scatters without triggering an avalanche will remove the Stockholm Syndrome slot blockade at the bottom position of the third reel. It then triggers a respin there for the chance of landing an additional scatter.
Double Free Spin Bonus Features
There are two different Free Spin bonus rounds in this game, Hostage Spins and Syndrome Spins:
Hostage Spins
Seven Hostage Spins will trigger when 3 scatters land on the reels in the base game. During these spins, a fully stacked Con Man wild will increase the Con Man wild multiplier by +1 and also award one extra Free Spin. It also upgrades the lowest-paying symbol to the highest-paying symbol for the rest of the bonus. Syndrome Spins
To trigger Syndrome Spins, four scatters need to land on the reels in the base game. The 8 Syndrome Spins are played on a 3-4-4-4-4-3 grid, where the Con Man can appear on both reels 3 and 4. If the Con Man wild lands partially on a reel, it is nudged to be fully revealed.
Hostage symbols are collected from the middle four reels and are counted double if two Con Man wilds land. Once all hostage collection meters are full, the Syndrome Feature is triggered, affecting the middle reels as follows:
- The third reel is covered by one wild symbol with a multiplier. The multiplier will depend on the collected symbol shown below the reel, where the starting multiplier will be 2x, with an additional 1x added for each extra symbol collected beyond 5.
- The fourth reel receives Infectious xWays. Here, a new position is opened, revealing a random symbol of size 2. All other identical symbols on the reels are converted to the same size. Each symbol collected below reel 4 will increase the xWays by 1+.
- Reels two and five receive xReelSplit, splitting all symbols on these reels into 2. Symbols collected on these reels that match the symbol below them will increase the split size by 1+ when the symbols are collected beyond five.
In addition, full Con Man wilds and scatter symbols award 1+ Free Spin every time they land. xBomb multipliers are sticky throughout the Syndrom Spins.
